| To all parents: As of January 13, 2010 the Wausau School Board has changed the fee for the rental of our classroom. The rate was $11/hour and has increased to $125/hour. This substantial fee increase would bring the cost of drivers education to around $800 a student. We are currently looking for different facilities to set up drivers education. Since we had contracts to April, the change will take place in June. We realize the impact this may have on families for convenience and cost, please contact the school board members and district administrators to remind them that the schools are for the education of our children and should be allowed to be used by all at a reasonable rate. |

| Welcome to Decker’s Driving Academy LLC, your complete drivers education facility for future drivers of all ages. We are fully insured and licensed by the State of Wisconsin for both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction. |

| Our classroom instruction is held for 15 days, each day is a 2 hour session. Classroom teaching is based mostly on projects, discussions, activities, demonstrations and visual examples in the drivers education vehicle. Reading is held to a minimum to help with keeping students attention. To help with retention of information given in class, we do play numerous games in class based on drivers education. Our philosophy is to have fun while learning. This way the student retains the information better in order to obtain their instruction permit and become better prepared for the behind-the-wheel portion of the course. |

| Behind-the-wheel is taught in a two part system. Upon receiving the instruction permit the student will receive 4 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, reserving 2 hours for review just before going to take their road test. This is to correct problems they might have picked up in the last 4 or 5 months and also sharpen driving skills. Our behind-the-wheel only program is also based on the same principle. |
